Opening Hours Approval

SOCi gives admins an approval/permission workflow for Opening Hours, so your local teams can propose edits that go through approval before publishing to Google.

Who It’s Available To:

What Changed:

• A new role-based permission lets admins grant specific users the ability to edit opening Hours with approval required before publishing.
• Only users with the permission see the edit option, keeping the experience clean for everyone else.

• Field-level control over who can edit Opening Hours.
• Local teams can propose changes without risk of incorrect publishes.
• Full audit trail of every proposed change.

Location Status Filter

Location Status is now a native Smart Group field in SOCi, so teams can automatically segment open and closed locations without maintaining parallel custom fields.

What Changed:

• Groups automatically segment locations by Open, Temporarily Closed, and Permanently Closed.
• Supports “contains” filtering when creating groups by filter for more flexible segmentation.

• Native grouping by status, no custom field workarounds.
• Groups stay accurate as location statuses change.
• Faster reporting and targeting for closed locations.

Google Business Profile: Secondary Phone Number

Manage both primary and secondary phone numbers for Google Business Profile.

What Changed:

• A secondary phone number field is now available in SOCi via UI, API, and CSV.
• Secondary numbers sync to Google Business Profile automatically on publish or update.

Benefits:

• Full GBP phone number parity managed from SOCi.
• No more native GBP edits for multi-line locations.
  

Sunset Google Q&A

Google retired its Q&A API on November 3, 2025, which means Google Q&A management is no longer supported through any third-party platform. Google Q&A widgets, tabs, and management experiences are now removed from our UI. SOCi will continue to leverage available Q&A data behind the scenes to support Local Search Agent recommendations where applicable. This change affects management functionality only!

Custom Disclaimer for Lead Forms

Built to add custom disclaimers and consent options directly within SOCi lead forms.

• Added an optional Custom Disclaimer section within the lead form builder.
• Added support for custom titles, body text, and consent checkboxes.
• Added disclaimer and consent previews directly within the form experience.

Posting Buffer in Scheduler

Helps teams enforce review windows with configurable posting buffers across locations.

• Added posting buffer controls at the Account, Group, and Location levels.
• Added buffer visibility throughout the scheduler and calendar experience.

Image Compliance now extends to Listings and Engagements, automatically scanning image text against your compliance policies before anything publishes.
